I came across this app when I was looking for an aid for guiding mindfulness with my clients. I ended up using it more often on my own. I usually turn off the voice and just listen to the nature sounds. It has been a great way to decompress in the middle of the workday. After about 5 minutes I'm usually able to leave all my thoughts behind. When I come to, it's as if I'm waking from a power nap.
Now, I am aware of the let down that can ensue when something is hyped. I'll qualify my praise by stating that the app is only $1.99 so expectations should match the price tag. That being said, I think it will compare favorably with any other $2 purchase.
